Wisborough Green School was recently described to me as…

This is an ideal to which we are proud to aspire.

As every parent knows, the earliest years of a child’s life and the experiences of this period will shape their future love of learning and happiness. So choosing the right school is of crucial importance, for your child to realise his or her full potential.

We believe that every child is unique, and yet they all have some important things in common.

All children have an instinctive thirst for knowledge and feel comfortable and secure if they know that the adults around them will listen to them. Children grow in confidence when they realise that their ideas are respected, and thrive if they feel that they are valued as individuals.

At Wisborough Green School we offer a carefully structured, yet flexible curriculum, which encourages the highest standards in the basic skills in a broad and balanced programme of learning.

Our school is focused upon teaching and learning and enjoys a reputation for high standards in all areas of the curriculum, in particular the Arts.

We devote a great deal of time to understanding and providing for the needs of individual children, making sure there is a kind but firm environment in which mutual respect and concern for each other is nurtured within a strong moral and spiritual framework.

I think that our school stands or falls by our children, who live its experience and leave us with confidence and pride in their achievements, well equipped for the challenges they will face.
