  • Y5 & Y6 Saxon Viking Workshop

    Year 5 and 6 were very excited to have their Viking workshop! The children learnt lots about how the Vikings lived, what they wore, where they came from and they also had the chance to have an up-close look at lots of different artefacts. Year 5 and 6 had fun working out what each object was and what it was used for. It was great to see the children's curiosity through the questions they asked - the facilitator was really impressed with their knowledge!

  • Remembrance Service

    Despite being unable to visit St Peter’s Church as planned, Years 5 and 6 held a beautiful Remembrance Service at school. They sang and read poems and moving letters that they had written from the battlefields. They also held a minute’s silence at 11:00am in remembrance of all who lost their lives in war.
