Monday 30th March
Good morning, Year 6!
I know it feels a bit strange working at home and not being at school but I just want to say how proud I am of all of you for working so hard and being creative with your learning. I have really enjoyed seeing all your photos and all the work you have done – you are all superstars!
A reminder, I will be setting you some task again this week which you will find in the documents section, but please feel free to choose your own – there are a lot of things for you to do and I’m sure you have you own ideas on how to continue your learning at home. Please make sure you find time to have some fun with your family and friends – even if it is online or on the phone!
Some suggested learning for today:
- Joe Wicks at 9am!
- Maths – choose a set of questions from the Hamilton Trust folder
- English – Use your SATS buster book to practice a reading comprehension
Well done to James S and Jack for winning the ‘Hit The Button’ competition last week! This week, the competition will be for division facts up to the 12 times table – good luck!
Thank you Sophie for your wonderful ‘Sing it Saturday’! You’ve inspired me to practice playing guitar again!
Have a lovely day, team! I will get back to emails as soon as possible!
Friday 27th March
I’ve LOVED seeing what you’ve all been up to! Well done guys – I’m very proud of you all for working so hard! From multiplication to baking cakes, from story writing to gardening – AMAZING!
Here is some suggested learning for today:
- Have a go at the SPAG challenge cards – if you can’t print them out, just copy them into your book.
- Have a go at some maths questions in the ‘Year 6 Home Learning Pack’ – again, if you can’t print them off, copy into your book
And of course, make sure you fit in some time to do something creative!
Our Maths Champion of the week is: Jack for doing some excellent maths work!
Best ‘Rate My Plate’ is: Polly for her delicious Banana Bread!
Friendship Friday: Sophie for helping her sister do some learning!
Wahooooo! Well done!!
Have a lovely weekend – I hope you get a chance to go outside and enjoy doing some things you love.
Remember you can email me at any time if you need to and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
‘See’ you on Monday!
