Hello to all my enthusiastic and funny Year 1s

Hope you all had fun this weekend and remembered your Mother’s Day cards! On the home learning page you will find a timetable of things to do each day and for the week. For your home learning this week you have daily learning tasks to complete for reading, writing, spellings and maths.  Please complete these tasks in your new home learning book – remembering to write as neatly as you can.

There are other tasks which you can choose to do too. Please do not worry if you can’t complete all of these this week just try your best. If you do complete them all and are bored there are some other ideas on the sheets I gave you to take home. Try these and share them all on Tapestry so I can see what you have been up to.

After doing your Acts of Kindness books I know how kind you can be. Each week I will be looking for friendship Friday and would love to hear of all the lovely things and jobs you have been doing for others. I will also be looking for the maths champion of the week, so remember to send me all of the fantastic maths you have been doing. We will also be doing rate my plate. If you have been helping to cook different meals throughout the week, make sure you send me a picture.

Please don’t worry and keep singing our songs with Jack Hartman, Bruno, Kindness song and Big big dreams or learn a new one! Any questions or concerns please send me an email and I will try to answer them. Be the best you can be, look after yourselves and your families and I can’t wait to see all your lovely work.

Mrs Bates
