Hello to all my enthusiastic and funny Year 1s

Week 11 Summer Term -Home Learning ( still following week 10 timetable)

I have seen some great home  learning this week and  I am so happy that you are all still trying  your best and learning at home. Keep going.  Some of you will be starting back at school this week  and will be going into either the Giggle or Squiggle bubble. The activities in the timetables will follow some of the activities we  do every day in class.

For your home learning this week you have been given daily learning tasks to complete for reading, writing, spellings and maths.  Please continue to do this.  There is also information on the Year 1 curriculum on our class page and also under 'curriculum' on the website in the subject folders. This week we will be continuing with the book THE COLOUR MONSTER  (literacy 15 june) as we still have lots to do. Please continue with the activities on here (there are lots)  and we will be linking our literacy , art and PSHE to the book .  For maths please follow the multiplication presentation wk 3.  I have also added some number bonds sheets for revision. We will continue to go outside when we can  and for future weeks we will continue to offer a weekly theme and activities will be linked where possible.

Please continue to put all your learning on tapestry so I can see it. I will not be able to reply each day as will be teaching but it will be looked at by another teacher who will answer any queries and offer encouragement during working hours. I will see them at the end of the week. It is not necessary to do all of them. You can pick and choose or adapt them to suit your home environment.

For those of you learning at home you are all doing really well. Please keep reading. There are lots of books on line or stories on YouTube.  Any questions or concerns please send me an email and I will try to answer them. Be the best you can be, look after yourselves and your families.
